Park View Inn - Salem

When we first opened the door, our initial impression was that this could be a really cute place. Unfortunately, the longer we stayed, the more maintenance issues we discovered. The bathroom plumbing was installed incorrectly. The faucet marked “cold” actually produced hot water, and the cold-water faucet turns in the opposite direction from what it should. The bathroom walls were in very poor condition, with paint literally peeling off in sheets. The bedding also needs attention. There were multiple cigarette burns in the comforter, and there was a stain on top of it that honestly looked like someone had wiped their nose on it. The pillows were so thin that they provided almost no support. There were also some safety and maintenance concerns. One of the electrical outlets on the lamp was hanging loose, and the lamp by the entrance was plugged into an extension cord stretched across the floor, creating a tripping hazard. This property has a lot of potential. It wouldn’t take much to turn it into a charming place to stay. A fresh coat of paint, properly installed plumbing, replacement bedding, and attention to a few basic maintenance and safety issues would make a world of difference. It’s disappointing because the bones are there, but right now the condition simply doesn’t match the first impression

The room stank of carpet deodorizer that choked me, and the carpet is stained to the point where I was not wearing socks, and my feet were filthy from walking on it. The bathroom had a pubic hair on the shower tile and it wasn’t mine the water from the shower was lukewarm and the water did not drain out of the shower so that I was standing in a puddle while taking a shower very poor experience would never stay here again. bed mattress sunk in the middle.

Got one price was charged a hello of alot more. I am disabled and barely have any money.
