Hillcrest Inn

We only booked our reservations a couple weeks out so I didn't have a whole lot of choices. The lady in the office was very nice and welcoming. Our room was spacious with two queen beds. The beds weren't very comfortable. The towels were very soft and seemed new. It's nice that the toilet and shower are separate from the sink.

First off, the location is great. Close to the beach and the touristy area of Seaside. The facility is old and quirky, but you would know that with only a little online investigation. The staff is helpful and friendly. Everything was clean. It was quiet and relaxing. The rooms have seen some use, but everything worked, with the possible exception of the wi-fi. If you have intensive online work to do, don't book a room here and think you'll be able to work with a stable wi-fi connection. However, for us, we didn't feel that the weak/sporadic wi-fi was a deal-breaker. Hillcrest Inn is not a luxury experience, but it is priced accordingly. We enjoyed our stay and will consider it again in the future.

Ruth and her staff are amazing hosts! There was a small hiccup in our reservation (our fault). Ruth found us another room elsewhere right away and made us feel like we were royalty. The ADA room is so comfy with even a shower chair in the roll in shower. We will be back again soon!
