Red Carpet Inn - Allentown

From the past I knew Red Carpet Inns as nice places. When that lady at the counter asked for the code to my credit card (which I did not give) we should have run for the hills. The matress is relatively new. (This completes the list of good). The room is dirty and smells like hell from smoke, nicotine runs down the walls, the bed smells. Even our cloth smelled the day after. Short say, it was a nightmare and whoever reads this....go to any other place.

I'd stayed here years before when it was the Scottish Inn. Older, but much the same. Room was very clean, TV worked well and had wide variety of channels. In room fridge was handy. King bed was very comfortable (and NO bugs of any kind! I checked!) Office staff was very friendly and they have a full security monitoring system covering the entire location. Morning coffee was welcomed. Not the Marriott, but for only $50/night it was clean, comfortable, quiet and secure lodging. The Diner next door was absolutely great!

I advise you not to go here. Yeah its cheap but its disgusting there and the people there are so rude and do not know what they are doing whatsoever. First of all, the place looks sketchy. Second of all, you walk in the room and it looks like something out of a horror movie. There was burn holes in the comforter ( thank god I brought my own blankets and pillows), what looked like pubic hair in the tub in the bathroom. Thank god I brought my laptop because they didn't even have a flat screen tv ( not that was my main concern ) basically the only benefit about this motel is that theyre is pretty good diner in the same parking lot and it was 5 mins from Dorney Park.
