Quality Inn Breeze Manor

Very sad to see that this hotel is now closed. For 20 years, it was our favorite stop for a break between Michigan and Virginia. Every year, we looked forward to seeing the owner's dog, (Sadie?) welcoming the guests. We loved the rustic, yet clean and well-maintained appearance of the property and its rooms. I wish the owner and their family all the best. Their hospitality will be missed.

We certainly enjoyed staying at this immaculately-kept older hotel after spending the day moseying around on Lincoln Highway. Friendly owners/innkeepers. Very clean room and comfortable beds. It was so nice to be in a room with windows that actually opened and closed—we got to sleep with our windows open for a change of pace.

Zero empathy customer service! I accidentally booked this property in a completely wrong location from where we were going. My fault, of course, but with a newborn I haven’t been sleeping much, some wires crossed… these things happen. I realized the mistake almost immediately. Called 10 min later. The clerk said that if only I booked directly not through expedia … but then when expedia rep called a few min later asking for a waiver, the hotel refused.
