great staff..room was lean.. people bash this hotel but don't mind paying $79. Its not the Ritz but its older and represents What Gettysburg is.

Check In: Smells of Indian Food in the hallways. No A/C in the common areas or hallways. Hallway floors were disgusting, large stains and old gum stuck on the floor. Stairwells were dirty and dusty. No one at front desk, just a sign directing you to sister hotel to check in, about 150 yards away. Later found desk guy. Heard a lady ask for a bottle of water, he directed her to find a nearby convenience store. They had a coffee machine near the front desk, it was out of order, and you had to pay for it. Room: Ceiling looked like someone was throwing knives into it. Ceiling tiles were sagging and falling down. Room floor was dirty and stained. Looked like everything had been painted about 10x, paint on top of paint. Microwave was dirty inside. Fridge had a bunch of water just sitting in it, not clean. Parking: Some parking lot lights worked, many did not. Had not been re-paved or Chip sealed in a long time.

Old and tired; despite claims of recent updates to the rooms, the entire property is run down. Walls and floors in the room were warped and likely had water damage that was covered over by cheap flooring and fiberglass wall panels. There was evidence of mold near the ceiling by the window. The site is NOT as pictured on their website, no restaurant operating after breakfast; pool area looks like a lot was recently torn out - the structures pictured are gone, just bare concrete. The front desk was not adequately staffed( left empty all morning when we were checking out, they referred us to adjacent related property). The bath towels were so thin and flimsy I wouldn't use them as car rags at home! I see this hotel offered for around $100 by some online aggregator sites - if you need a cheap room and are expecting a cheap room then try it- but calling it a "resort" is just fraudulent advertising.
