Robertshaw Country House Bed & Breakfast

The Robert Shaw house was a great place to stay. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The rooms are located upstairs. My room had 2 twin beds and a little electric fireplace. My bath was located down the hall. Everything was very clean and tidy. The sisters of St. Emma Monastery we're very helpful giving me a tour of the house and telling some of it's history. The house was built by Robert Shaw (house thermostat company) in 1931. It's beautiful inside with all the wood bannisters and trim original and well maintained. I would love to stay again. It's close to my grand children's home.

The Robertshaw House is peaceful and the Benedictine nuns are gracious hostesses. The home has been beautifully maintained and provides amazing insight into the lives of the wealthy 100 years ago. The Sunset Room was very comfortable and the bath included all the amenities of a high-end hotel: plush robe and slippers, toiletries and a deep (original) soaker tub.

This was, in my opinion, the absolutely perfect place for us to spend Palm Sunday weekend. Quiet, peaceful, reverent, calming, and comfortable, the Robertshaw Country House B&B left us feeling renewed. Mother Mary Ann made us feel at home, and everything was truly magnificent. We can not reccomend this highly enough.
