Comfort Inn Capital City

This hotel was fairly easy to get to in a quiet plaza. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast area was well stocked. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. The card in the room states that the linens are replaced after the third night of one's stay; however, during our 5–6-night stay we did not replace so much a towel replacement.

I am happy there were no bugs in the room that I could see. However the breakfast wasn’t safe to eat, in my opinion, except for the pre packaged yogurt. The cup that you see with the sour flies in was sitting on the counter in the breakfast area next to the bread/bagel container and fruit. These bugs were actually inside the bread container and all over the fruit. The eggs were a strange color and sitting in slimy, cloudy water. Also another lady and I had spoiled milk in our cereal. We didn’t eat the breakfast there after that first day. There was toilet tissue stuck in a hole under the sink in the room. The bathroom door veneer was all chipped at the bottom and peeling off and you can see what the corner of the bathroom looks like in the picture. I could live with that, but all the other things were just too much.

It’s showing its age but its clean and the price reasonable. Safe clean parking area. Very friendly staff. Room was large, clean, and comfortable. *40” TV with many channels including one Premium, plus the channel guide provided seemed accurate. *Mic, fridge, coffee maker. *Iron and board. *strong Wi-Fi *The building and room have fill fire system; strobe and sprinklers. *They have a very good and included breakfast. Hot eggs and sausage, waffles, bagels, coffee, and juice among other things. It was good. We like it and will try to stay here again the next time we travel through the area.
