Fairfield Inn by Marriott Hazleton

Sent a message regarding the possibility of an early check-in because the wedding we are attending starts at 4pm and check in is at 3pm. Not only did they not respond to my message, they denied ever receiving it despite the fact I could see it was delivered. Reservation desk and manager absolutely no help. I even said, I would pay extra. If they would have responded to my message like any other hotel who values their customers, I could have cancelled my reservation for a full refund and booked with a hotel that is more accommodating. Look elsewhere... where staff actually take the time to reply to their customers and at least try to help. Marriott use to be ace...maybe it's just this hotel.

This hotel is in need of a makeover! Badly cracked sink with no hot water, bad drain in the tub, worn out mattress. The breakfast at 9 am on Sunday morning had no food (eggs, sausages, bread, yogurt, etc) cuz an employee meeting was going on. We usually stay at the Fairfield in Blooomsburg and will probably go back there next time.

Good place for a short break, has a decent pool for kids and average American breakfast.
