From the beginning of the check in process the woman at the front desk was confrontational. She threatened to cancel our reservation because my wife asked questions.
In addition. The elevator did not work and the sheets had cigarette burns.

Very happy. Ticked all the boxes for me; clean; quiet and felt safe. Gentleman at receptionist very helpful; problem with the booking (not the hotel's fault) and he was very patient and helpful. Public transport outside the door which was big plus to me as I was not driving

I booked 3 rooms for three adults for an overnight stay on a business trip to Philadelphia. The rooms themselves were comfortable, spacious and clean with good lighting...however there is no security protection for the hotel wifi--just an open signal, and I had three suspicious carriers trying to piggy back on it attempting to gain access to my computer. (I quickly shut off my wifi on my computer and phone for the entire stay) also, the TVs in two of the rooms could only get a few of the channels listed (with FOX occupying three of them) plus the TV remotes were broken. When we three compared notes about our rooms, all three bathrooms had empty soap/shampoo dispensers in the bathrooms and one of showers malfunctioned.
THE BIG problem was the check in. I have never ever had such a surly receptionist (male) who was locked behind a bullet proof window at 4pm, not to mention a FOUR-page, full-scale, aggressive rental agreement (see page 3 in the photos section) that seemed to be aimed at nailing coffin lids on long term renters, not to mention the dozen really unfriendly and off-putting signs and posters tacked up around the reception area.
Then as soon as I got to the door of my room, a couple upstairs right over my head got into a very public knock-down drag out fight (thankfully not literally) on the upstairs hallway. I went in my room and tried to lock my room door, but I could still hear them and the security bar on my door was broken. In all fairness, I will say that the bed was comfortable and the rest of the night was quiet, but I still took my computer and all my valuables with me from the room when I went out to supper. All in all, I was glad to leave unscathed the next morning. I'm not sure it was worth the $66 price tag per room.
