Comfort Inn & Suites Pottstown

Do people still really do this??? We just got back from a Labor Day Weekend staying 4 nights. I initially had trouble getting a room the first 2 nights and had to make a reservation somewhere else, farther away. This hotel was full. I called and spoke with Julie, Front Desk, and told her our situation. First, she recognized my name, and then my voice. Then she took my phone number and said she would keep an eye out for a vacancy!! Two days later, she called and had already reserved the room for us!!!!. We canceled the other hotel reservations and spent all 4 nights here. Then, as we were pulling into the parking lot, Julie is leaving her shift. She stops, says "Hello" calling me by name and then wishes me Happy Birthday as my birthday was the day after we check out !!!! Who does this?? I truly hope corporate knows about and appreciates Julie. She along with her staff make staying here a comfortable, enjoyable and easy experience.

My wife and I stay here 3 times a year to visit family. We have done this for 4 years. Front desk staff, Julie and Brian know us, personally greet us and are sincere in there welcoming us. All staff, kitchen, room cleaning, custodians say "hi" , ask if we need anything and are "real" In their interactions. All of the rooms are clean and everything works. Never have had any issues. We also see the staff interact with each other and they get along well and work well with each other.

My stay exceeded expectations in every aspect - cleanliness, comfortable beds, customer service, breakfast, friendliness, etc.. The only negative was that the 3rd floor hallway reeked of pot all the time we were there (our room was fine). I reported this to the front desk, but I do understand it's something they cannot control.
