HAMPTON INN WILLIAMSPORT-DOWNT

Staff was very friendly and rooms were clean. The king suite we were in needs some maintenance and upkeep. Breakfast was ok the first morning. The second morning must have been a little busier, as the area was quite messy, the milk was empty and the coffee not even hot. The third morning we just opted for breakfast across the parking lot at Perkins. The hotel is in a good location for shopping and walking to dinner. We had a rear room that would be noisy early morning due to garbage trucks and a busy office building. Also, only 1 elevator was working, so it took some time to get to our room and or down to lobby.

Very nice place to stay. Rooms were clean and ready for us. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful, both when we checked in and when we checked out (different staff.). Breakfast was what you would expect, but it was fresh, and the staff was again, very helpful. Convenient when you’re on the highway, and also walkable distance to some places downtown. We would stay here again!

Hamptons do not seem to be keeping up their properties like they used to and this was no exception. The shade would not close as the chain had a stopper in it preventing closure. The toilet flapper had to be adjusted after each flush. Reported upon check-out and manager called back to apologize and offered a little credit.
