The Yorktowne Hotel

I have almost no complaints, bed was comfortable, room was spotless and staff extremely friendly. However like other guests have said the parking is horrible. You have to park in the parking deck across the street and it’s not a comfortable place to park at night when you’re traveling solo. Other than that.

The hotel is beatiful! Historic hotel of America! Great stay ! The room was huge, very well decorated, very clean! The front desk staff was very nice ! I loved the lobby with Frank Sinatra mural! Why did I rate 4 stars? Because of the parking lot! We are brazilians and had been traveling for 2 weeks! We had 4 pieces of lugagge! We had to park across the street, carry everything down, cross the street, take an elevator 2 get to lobby! I havent be warned in advance to unload the car first! I know it is a historic hotel with no parking on site, but I felt miserable carrying heavy lugagge everywhere!

Our stay here was beyond words; they accommodated us with special parking (accessibility we no longer have). Hotel must have been just renovated--sparkly clean, bright, bar and small restaurant in the lobby. Roof top bar and lounge; like stepping back in time. Rooms spacious, clean and everything in working order.
