TRAVELODGE NEWPORT AREA/MIDDLETOWN

The room had a funky smell and bugs. It was so expensive, not worth the price. The wifi didn’t work. There were crackheads outside our window until 3am yelling and we called the front desk for a noise complaint and they didn’t do anything, and said they need to enjoy their stay too.

Quiet and well maintained property. The hotel is away from the road for privacy. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and the breakfast.

Overall stay was not bad at all. I was using crutches which made it difficult to climb the stairs to get to my room. Shower floor was very slippery when wet which was not good for me after knee surgery recovery. Walls were also too thin, I could hear talking tenants on both sides of my room.
