America's Cup Inn Newport

This is a great hotel. The beds were fine, the pillows and towels were good. There was enough room in with double beds to get around easily. The bathroom was big. There was only body soap and nothing specifically for face and they are opting out of individual soaps and shampoos. They had a breakfast every morning with tea, coffee, juice, breads, sweet breads, fruit, cheeses, meats, and the cheap,premade omelettes, sausage, and bacon. The Tea Time was enjoyed by us. Coffee, tea, chips, chex mix, fruit, brownies, chocolate chip cookies, et al. The place was clean, the location was great for downtown and shopping. I would look carefully at the rooms before you choose a room. We had a bottom floor room that faced the main street and it was an issue. There was always someone standing underneath the window, drunkenly carousing down the street, or those stupid leafblowers at 7:30 a.m with the trash trucks. It was bothersome but didn’t impact us beyond that. Lovely place

Smooth check-in, nice rooms and close to everything in Newport

One of my favorites in Newport. Great staff, good breakfast with yummy lots of options as well as hot options. Rooms has coffee makers and a refrigerator, tv. We stayed in the main building in which the rooms are clean with rather small but clean bathrooms with clean bedding and towels. Always fresh coffee, great location just in the middle of everyting, also stayed in one of the apartments which was a suit with a balcony, table and kitchen, microwave, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, if you stay longer these apartments are much more comfortable with a kitchen inside. I truly recommend America’s Cup inn, we loved it.
