Artful Lodger

My husband and I just came back from 3 days, 2 nights in Newport, RI for a wedding. We stayed at The Artful Lodger, in Grace’s Room on the 1st floor. This B&B is very charming and Heidi was a gracious host, and we would definitely stay here again. The Inn is in a great spot to walk to the harbor area where most restaurants and bars are and to walk to The Cliff Walk if you’re interested in that.

Location was ideal. Loved Anna’s room and enjoyed returning to the inn after a day of sight-seeing and making cold drinks or having a glass of wine (refrigerator in room). The breakfast in the top floor observatory was a great way to start the day. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Daily room service made everything fresh each day. Walking distance to water, pubs, and restaurants. Recommend the Cliff Walk and Mansion Tours. Would definitely return here!

This place is exactly what you picture in your mind when you think “Cozy Bed & Breakfast in a New England port town”. Everything about this place was great.
