Bayberry Inn of Newport

We were so sad to leave the Bayberry this weekend after another wonderful stay. The star of the weekend was dear Karla, the innkeeper or as I'd like to think as the house mom, who ensured that our every need was met-- she truly is the heart of the Bayberry. She goes above and beyond to keep the guests comfortable, and the breakfast she prepares from scratch is amazinggg!! She is truly talented and is rooted in hospitality. We came for a girls trip to celebrate a friend's 40th and she even baked her a cake, as well as another cake to accommodate another friend's dietary restrictions. She is just the kindest soul you'll ever meet, and I wish she could be with us wherever we go! This was our second visit with Karla and the Bayberry and we're looking forward to coming back. Thank you for the best stay, Karla!!

Amazing couples stay at the Bayberry. The Newport room was spacious, private, quiet and very nicely decorated. The room was clean and mini-split AC units kept the room very comfortable during a hot few days. The bathroom is large, with jet tub and separate shower. Locations is very close to tennis hall of fame and Bellevue Ave. A manageable walk to Thames st as well. Worth the walk to have peace and quiet at night for bed time. The breakfast each morning was outstanding. My spouse is gluten-free and traveling to find gf options can be challenging. Kayleigh made dedicated gf breakfast each morning upon request and even put out gf baked goods throughout our stay! She is an amazing host. If we ever make it back to Newport, we will stay here again. Thank you, Bayberry!

This is an unbelievable, beautiful place so centrally located…. Charming Inn keeper, charming house, wonderful breakfast well worth coming for just that! I would come back here a couple times a year if I could Newport is rich with history and architecture. This shopping is so much fun and the food is so great because it’s fresh from the sea. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this is here.
