Hawthorne Suites Charleston

The worst experience of my life..blood on sheets roaches all over room..broken back door so everyone could come in..tweekers drug dealers..I had to sleep in my car the second day from all the chaos..pool was full of mold..i don’t understand how this hotel is still functioning ..not safe! I keep contacting Priceline but nothing is being done..

Towels and wash clothes are stained. Sheets and bedding are dirty and had rips throughout. Find somewhere else to sleep even for 1 night.

This hotel could be in a horror movie. All we could smell was smoke, the room door didn’t close right, our bed was broken, the sheets had so many stains you didn’t need light to see them, sockets and lamp on one side of the room didn’t work, the AC didn’t blow cold air, stains on the lamp shades and walls, they patched holes in the bathroom and didn’t bother to paint over, the toilet seat was coming off, the sofa had really really bad stains. Overall please don’t waste your money this place is a nightmare.
