Motel 6 Columbia East

Cheap Hotel Friendly Staff Clean Comfortable

If I can give this place negative stars I would. We asked if they had any rooms left they told us yes one. We took it it was on the third floor we took the stairs the elevator is broken. We get to the room and we are trying the key to the room and it won’t open we hear a voice on the other side asking why we are trying to get into her room. We thought we had the wrong room so we go back downstairs and turns out the person before didn’t put into the system they had checked somebody into that room. So we are waiting in the hallway at 1 am for them to figure out what they are going to do. They then say they are going to clean another room for us. They do in like 10-15 minutes. We get into that room and we are getting ready for bed. When we notice a cockroach behind a mirror. They came up to bring us soap and we told them about the cockroach. They offered to clean another room but wanted to use the same sheets we had in the room we were in. While we waited in the room we spotted about 10 more cockroach’s dead and alive in the bathroom and the walls coming from under the bed the fire alarm just everywhere. That’s when we decided to just check out and ask for a refund. NEVER AGAIN STAYING AT A HOTEL 6.

By far I am super impressed with the service I received and my room compared to the online reviews from before I don’t see here. This place was beautiful even though they’re undergoing renovations it’s Finally look like this place is open. Thanks for listening to our concerns seems like this place is finally on the right path also thanks Ed you and your team was great see you in two weeks !!
