Americas Best Value Inn

This place should be shut down in my opinion. Sketchy location but as a Florence resident, I can deal with it. Only rented to get some study time. See pics of the pillow left on the bed in the room I paid for. This is how they do business. Also, if you choose to rent a room, be prepared to do your own cleaning. Cheap room with filthy unsanitary unhealthy practices. Never again. Management failed to address the issue. Staff made excuses and covered for management. They simply don't care.

My husband and I stayed there on the way to Florida Feb 24/24. I usually do a review on a hotel but it was getting late, and we were tired. It was only one night. There was a great pic of the room at reception so should be ok. Check in was ok Well going to our room there was a man who had two pit bulls walking around. That was ok but as soon as we got into room wished we didn't book it. It was stuffy inside and smelled awful. No blankets on bed it was chilly. Got the air on to get rid of smell. It's really runned down place not like the pic on the wall. The toilet seat was loose and kept sliding. We checked the sheets just incase for bugs. After that was when the noise started. There was a couple who were shouting back and forth down below It happened multiple times through out the night At one point we thought for sure there would be gun shots or the police coming. I think people are actually living there full time. Constant trucks going back and forth all hours of the night really loud. At one point my husband thought around midnight lets leave as we couldn't sleep. Didn't want to leave the room too scared. So at 5am we got up and left fast. I was very nervous leaving basically run to the car and go. This was the only time I was actually afraid. I should have did my reviews and learned a lesson. I saw this hotel advertised in the South Carolina discount coupons for visitors on the way back home and do not recommend it at all.

This Room is filled with BEDBUGS and ROACHES and they are constantly coming out right now I took some pictures My husband and I stay here all the time., but leave and come back before checkout so this is nasty. I'm itching all over and scared to fall asleep. ya'll need to get pest control so these rooms can be tented.
