I’d give it a 2.5. The staff is lovely. Very helpful. And the breakfast is really great. BUT the stay was not as expected. The walls are paper thin and there seemed to be several parties. The pool was dirty and had cigarette butts floating. And the towels had a smell. I won't stay there again but I will emphasize that the workers were the bright spot in the whole thing.

My family and I went down on July 17th- 20th for a Family Reunion. This is my second time staying there and it was clean both time I stayed. The beds 🛌 are so comfy breakfast are good. All the staff has that good old southerner hospitality which I like they are so friendly and nice. I been in some Hampton Inn but this one is the BEST one I ever stayed in. As long as their hotel stay clean I will always go there whenever I travel to South Carolina. Thanks for the cleanliness, hospitality and breakfast. I give them more than a 10 star 🌟. If you ever travel to South Carolina I recommend this Hotel 🏨 👌

I attended the Women’s Baptist E & M Convention June 15-19, 2026. Tuesday morning I discovered a roach crawling on the bathroom counter. I killed it with a towel. I took it downstairs to show it to the clerk on duty. She offered to move me to another room but there wasn’t any available at that time. I requested to have an adjustment to my bill for the inconvenience. Since I work in registration for the convention I was not able to return to the hotel until it was time to change for an evening event. I had no idea that this would occur again. Early Wednesday morning I got up to use the bathroom and observed tiny roaches crawling in the shower and in the bedroom on the wall. I asked the desk clerk to come to my room to observe the roaches. She said she would report it to the manager when she came on duty. I requested to move to another room. I wasn’t able to sleep afterwards. When I left for the day I stopped by the front desk. The same clerk that was on duty when I showed the roach on Tuesday was on duty. I requested to have my bill adjusted and move to another room when I return from the conference. She stated that they could only adjust one day. When I returned, I was moved to another room. I still couldn’t sleep. At no time was I given an apology for this upsetting experience. I was meant to feel like it was no big deal. typing this review makes my stomach churn. It’s still upsetting!
