HAMPTON INN GREENVILLE-WOODRUF

DO NOT STAY HERE. WORST HAMPTON EVER WITH WORST SERVICE! Waited 10 minutes with no one at the desk at check in. Rang the bell on the desk 4 separate times. Finally walked over to the breakfast area and noticed the door open so I said, "Excuse me...". She was in the kitchen (approx 8:00pm) scooping ice for something. No apology. Just said, "You must have just walked in." Gave me room 320. Elevator Button Plate broken so pushing floor 3 button pushed whole panel in..... I went up and the room immediately looked dirty. SMELLED BAD. Obviously Smoked in! Finish on Furniture/TV/Refridge unit torn up. Refrigerator not working and warm. Picture missing on wall with broken clips hanging from wall. BARE LIGHT BULB with no lampshade on lamp by bed. No phone in the room to call downstairs. TV Not on Hilton/Hampton system with only a Roku remote and a "Can't connect to internet" message on the screen. "Chantella" acknowledged "Oh, you must have one of our ROKU units but you can log on there.....NOT!!!! Went down to desk to report all of this. "Chantella" gave NO ACKNOWLEDGMENT of wrong. Just "We've only just resumed renting that room. I can put you in another room but not what you reserved. I can also cancel the charges and you can go somewhere else if you prefer." It was now 8:40 pm and tired from travel. She suggested cancelling the room twice. The thought of shopping for another room at nearly 9:00 at night wasn't much of an alternative. She knew the room didn't didn't measure up and when I said it was inexcusable that she issued that room since she obviously was aware of the problems, she ignored me and continued to tell me what other types of rooms were available. Gave me a King, Handicapped accessible room as it was all that was available. It had obviously been worked on and was better. Later at 9:30 I got the auto text "How's your stay?" I said it was the worst Hampton I've ever stayed in and "Chantella" started replying and again, gave stock replies "Your situation has been relayed to management. And referring to herself in the 3rd person making it sound like someone else was writing the texts. I told her to stop texting and she continue with corporate messages and acknowledged that it was her. Ultimately had to block the number. What a nightmare!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS DUMP AND HORRIBLE SERVICE. I've stayed that the Hampton Greenville Airport and Hampton Greenville/Greer and they are excellent and only 10 minutes away.

I had a wonderful stay! The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The entire hotel was welcoming, and the service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The room was good but the service has been the worst experience of my life. Not to make a long story but Ashley at the front desk is so unprofessional, as is Bailey the manager. I was lied to, I wasted money, and when I escalated the situation, the hotel called me a liar even though I had proof to back up the truth. If you want a relaxing experience at a professional, honest hotel, this is NOT the one.
