Abingdon Manor - Country Inn & Restaurant

This is a charming Bed and Breakfast with an excellent restaurant that you must visit when in Latta, South Carolina. It’s conveniently located in the historic section of Latta—about 20 minutes from both Marion County and Dillon County. The environment is quaint and welcoming, and the owner, Pat, is exceptional. The service and food are wonderful—you won’t be disappointed! The rooms are comfortable and accommodating, perfect for an overnight or weekend stay. Whether you stop by for dinner or spend a night or two, you’ll truly enjoy your experience.

This property had been recommended to us by friends for our drive from FL to PA as a nice way to break up the drive and they were correct. The property is a tremendous old home that was loving turned into a B and B by the original innkeeper. We were greeted by the new owner and caretaker and were the only guests at that time. The owner was very interested in sharing the history of the property with us. He was enjoying tell us so we listened more than we would have. We enjoyed a nice meal and chatted with the other couple that was staying there. I have a ton of dietary restrictions and they were very attentive and focused on making sure my meal was good for me. The food was very good. Our room was large and nicely appointed. But, you have to remember, you’re staying in an old home/inn. The bed and linens were comfortable. While the bathroom was dated it did the job and the shower was solid. Rather than get up and “hit the road” we took the time to enjoy being served a meaningful breakfast before resuming our drive and were glad that we did.

This place is just amazing! Words fail me. Abingdon Manor is an absolute gem. Located off the beaten path in Latta, SC., it is well worth your trip. An old mansion converted to an Inn/ B&B, it also can boast a five star restaurant Mr Pat is a great host
