Hotels in Charleston are insanely expensive, so we stayed at this one across the harbor in Mount Pleasant, but for two nights, Thursday and Friday, it was still outrageous, averaging $240 per night. This is a typical hotel with nothing special to offer, including the same breakfast at any other hotel that's less than half the price. Traffic getting to and across the bridge into Charleston is unpredictable and can backup for multiple reasons, so plan your time accordingly, because delays can be long. The hotel is hard to find, in the back of a very crowded strip mall with an easy-to-miss entrance into the mall parking lot. Our room overlooked the pool, but luckily the noise from kids playing didn't last into the evening. The hotel itself was fine, with friendly staff and a clean room.

This hotel is in desperate need of a makeover. There isn't one piece of furniture that isn't stained or worn out. The hotel smells musty and the rooms are worse. The staff was friendly enough but that doesn't make up for the condition of pretty much everything. Even the parking lot was dirty.

This hotel is extremely overpriced, and no one working there speaks English. No one made any effort to clean or straighten my room for the 3 nights I stayed there. I had to ask for clean towels. It is older and, while my room was spacious, it was nothing special and cost well over $200 a night. The pool itself was adequate, but the pool chairs were broken and unusable. The pool umbrellas were old, faded and torn. The “flower beds” were full of weeds and no flowers. Trash from the previous day was still there the next day, lying around the pool area. I would not advise staying at this location, even though I have utilized many hotels in this chain and never had a problem. This one is pitiful and it’s clear that no one there cares. Looks elsewhere.
