Beach Colony Resort

Myrtle Beach SC. Rooms were nice however the queen room had two twin bedrooms instead a queen bed as advertised. But other than that, everything else was great very nice view of the ocean and pools from our balcony. The value was very reasonable I think for what we got.

Very nice place, room was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Made our stay even more enjoyable! Was a bit surprised at having to pay for parking but I guess that’s to be expected these days. For the price of the room, I can’t complain!

Interior common areas were a little run down, but the unit we stayed in was disgusting. Dirty, substances stuck to the walls, beds with no blankets, no water pressure in the shower, no drain cover in the tub….so essentially no way to shower or bathe. Beds were cheap spring mattresses, and kitchen appliances and dishes were dirty. Cracked and peeling paint and furniture. Dirty carpet and tile grout was black from never being properly cleaned. Closet and other doors either stuck open or stuck partially closed. Took over 5 minutes to get an elevator on floor 18 on a Thursday early evening. We had booked 4 nights. We stayed only one, and had to pay for other accommodations last minute. Honestly, this was the worst place I had ever stayed. My fault for not reading the reviews first. This place has no standards.
