Fairfield Inn Broadway

I am a Marriott Premium Elite member and booked through their official site. I selected this hotel as it had the least negative reviews. Reception staff were polite, efficient and professional. The hotel is very dated- rejuvenated but not renovated. Room was very clean- bathroom very old school. At almost $250 a night not exactly a bargain. I would describe the hotel as very entry level. No real surprises - Fairfield seems to be an outlier of the Marriott brand. Breakfast was included- but I didn't stick around to try it.

Stayed in 2 rooms. Both had mold and wet carpet, ones window blackout shade was taped together, the other one was too short to cover the whole window. Front desk staff on the weekend was friendly but staff during the week didn’t honor our Platinum status.

Friendly service and the rooms are clean but the hotel itself is in desperate need of a refresh. The carpet in our room was all frayed, it smelled musty, the pillows were lumpy, and there were stains on the floor in the bathroom. Plus the elevators intermittently weren’t working. The breakfast is adequate but not great - they don’t have as much space as some of the newer Fairfield Inn properties that we’ve stayed at.
