Meridian Plaza

Staying here right now we notice the pictures on this page are very different from reality. The property is pretty clean BUT the lobby is empty, not accessible and it is nothing like the pictures. The pool is nice but again, it is very worn…none of the pictures of the common areas represent the actual state of the building. The interior of the room we are in is ok and we cannot comment on the other rooms as we haven’t seen the inside. The lesson is…don’t overpay and don’t expect to see common areas that look like the supplied pictures.

I've stayed in rooms 507 and 508... they are clean and very stocked and updated... Would definitely stay there again .... great views for the beach and looking down the street to admire the skywheel and lights!!

So I ended up booking this through air b and b. So this is about the state of this “plaza” “hotel” type building. So starting off with the good. It’s on the water and you have a balcony on some that faces the water. Ok now the bad. So the pool was warmer than the outside temp at 85 degrees when we went. The place looks so run down on the inside from the minute you walk in. The first night we were here the ac went out forcing me to contact the host and they ended up reaching out the the property company that owns it. Took almost 48 hours for them to remotely do anything about it. Mind you being 85-87 outside on the 14th floor. We had to rent a room for we are here for a romantic week getaway from work. So now the listing on air bnb will talk it up being an amazing property but this is so a lie. Not a soul that works for the property is around all it says is call this number if you need anything. Very low lighting but didn’t feel in safe as the rooms have double locks most of them. Knowing the price that some of the host are charging do your homework and go to a hotel for almost the same price we paid for this. So taking it from someone that has never been to this area. I would look up the address when you are booking and if it pops up. Just be prepared to be very disappointed in what you paid for this.
