BEST WESTERN PLUS SANTEE

This is nothing more than a horrid little roadside motel. Our experience was miserable. The electrical plugs in the room did not charge our phones, the carpet was filthy, the WIFI didn't work, and check-out took forever. We don't plan to be back in Santee, but we would stay across the street at the Fairfield Inn or Hampton Inn.

The pool was warm, the bed was soft and room was quiet except a/c. We've stayed here many times & I'm happy to report breakfast was better equipped. I didn't have ask for regular tea bags & there were premium choices. My husband likes the waffle maker. Decent yogurt & cereal. Woman keeping it all serviced was top notch!

Despite being 100% full, staff kept the place very clean. Breakfast options were good and well stocked. One evening my husband went in the search of a cookie but they were out. The woman at the front desk came out with 4 freshly baked cookies for him despite her saying she hadn't planned on making more as it was getting late. Captain's quarters restaurant is just across the parking lot with Good reasonably priced food.
