Econo Lodge Mt. Rushmore Memorial

Very friendly staff, the room is a little on the small side but it had everything you need and it was clean, clean pool area as well. They do offer breakfast but not a large selection. Close to the Main Street in keystone, very close to Mount Rushmore, if we return to keystone we would stay here again!

This little motel was about 5 minutes from the center of town. The room was a little small but very clean and comfortable. All rooms are non-smoking. Each room has a fridge, microwave, and coffee-maker. Parking is ample. Access to the second-floor rooms is by stairs in the left- center of the motel or the outside stairs for the rooms on the right side. There is no elevator. I would suggest updating the carpeting on the outside stairs, because it is worn out and presents a tripping hazard. The walls seem to be thick enough to muffle out noice from adjoining rooms. Continental breakfast is served in a little breakfast nook from 7-9am that consists of cereals, pastries, juices, coffee hard boiled eggs, etc. I would recommend this motel.

The room was great and had everything I needed. TV worked well. Had a small fridge. Was able to park right next to the door. The person at the front desk was the same lady I talked to on the phone and she remembered me. Very attentive and checked on me after I settled in. The hotel was a few blocks from downtown and only 4 miles from the Rushmore Memorial. The price was also great which helped me as I was trying to stretch my dollars on vacation. This is not a luxury hotel, but it was nice, clean, comfortable, quiet, and very convenient to Mt Rushmore.
