Motel 6 Rapid City

The rudest staff i've ever dealt with! I had to change rooms 5 times because there was no fridge (need it for life-saving meds) the windows were cracked, no curtains, blood stains on the sheets, no towels, no TV remote, the floor was absolutely disgusting (my socks were black after 1 hour of walking on the floor), there were about 50 flies in the room I had to go buy a fly swatter, I had to get my room key reset 4 times because the lady at the front desk didn't know how to program it. Extremely rude staff, told me we learn how to wait in kindergarten! Awful hotel, rubbish bins were over flowing, I cannot recommend you STAY AWAY from this hotel enough!

Catastrophically run-down hotel with questionable management. Our room was so dirty that we moved to another hotel. Although we were renters and had the room key, we discovered the next morning that the room had been rented out to someone else. A refund was refused by the rude manager, who denied everything (we had photos), "because we had paid cash". The Motel 6 headquarters (we had reported the matter to them) sent an irrelevant, automated apology. Decades of travel experience in the USA have never produced such a bad hotel experience! Motel 6 has therefore been ruled out once and for all when looking for an overnight stay, even though we have had pretty good, reasonably priced accommodations with this chain.

Terrible motel and we only saw the outside and the lobby. We had booked two nights, the travel agency had warned the staff that we would arrive a day late. Despite this, when we showed up at 9pm they had canceled the reservation. Rude and uncaring staff. Outside there were some unsavory people, the hotel looks run down with broken doors and dirt. We left and found another motel nearby with the help and great availability of our travel agency.
