it was really good. and the food there was great.

I needed a place to stay, for about a week, with my very large and very furry dogs. I originally went to a RedRoof Inn because they are usually the first to show up when searching for dog friendly overnight stays. That room at RedRoof was disgusting and the “service” was nonexistent. So, after my first three nights I had to find a different place. I still didn’t want to spend several hundred dollars but I wanted to feel comfortable enough to use the room’s bathroom facilities. I ended up checking into Serenity Stay. Do not sleep on this place! The rooms are surprisingly modern-ish. The in room A/C unit is super strong and quiet, blowing 67* all night with no issues. The bed is very comfortable - the bedding and pillows top notch (Pillows are soft and squishy - if you want something firmer maybe bring your own or ask the front desk). The bathroom doesn’t fall flat with superior fluffy towels, AMAZING water pressure from the sink and shower, and most importantly, CLEAN! I felt safe sitting on the toilet and touching the various surfaces that a person would expect to use during a hotel stay. The in-room microwave, fridge, and coffee maker are all clean and in working order. The TV remote was not covered in gross (like RedRoof’s) and there is a large number of channels to choose from using DirectTV. Wi-fi is strong, no issues with connectivity. The front desk staff are so friendly and helpful. Great people, fantastic customer service. Breakfast was included and truly a treat with waffle makers, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, cereals, yogurt, etc. I was genuinely impressed with the quality of their breakfast offerings. Great coffee, too! Overall, my stay here at SerenityStay was excellent, I cannot recommend this place enough - especially if looking for a fairly priced hotel that accepts your furry family members. This place is a hidden gem.

The NON-Smoking room we were originally assigned reeked horribly of marijuana. Ironically, at check-in the lobby reeked of marijuana. Anyway, the floor, the couch and the bed were filthy. We asked for another room, which was considerably better. Unfortunately, the entire outside of the hotel was nasty. Besides all the trash and debris you had to walk carefully to avoid the sticky spots, dried up vomit and/or whatever the nastiness was. The breakfast room was a disaster. People standing around waiting for just about everything to be refilled - coffee, milk, utensils, waffle mix. If you don't believe me, I say book at your own risk!
