Best Western Crossroads Inn

Great time in the smokier and Gatlinburg!! Walked the strip and got to see people trick or treating! . Ate at Cherokee Restaurant which was phenomenal! Weather was perfect as was the leaves changing! Best time of the year! We did not see any bears or other wildlife but did see evidence that they were there!!

Had to switch rooms 3x because of 1. First room was flooded, 2. The door lock on the Second room was broken then they sent us to the third room after we agreed to take queen beds. Went to see the manage to see if we could get a rate reduction and the answer was a flat no. You can put lipstick on a pig but it’s still a pig is an excellent choice of words for this rundown joint.

The room was nice And had lots of room. We had a room with a Jacuzzi tub in it. It was nice. The hairdryer in the room did not work. Because the room was divided, it was hard for the cool air to get to the bedroom. It looks like an old hotel that someone tried to quickly make look nice. It was not a bad sleep and we were able to shower. The breakfast was really good and had good choices. This place was OK to stay, but not at top-notch stay. Not necessarily budget friendly either compared to the other places we stayed.
