Buckhorn Inn

We have been going to the Buckhorn for many years. This past January, we were married there. The personal care that the staff offers is one of the reasons we keep returning. The place is beautiful. Not showy beautiful, but elegantly beautiful. Gatlinburg is not far away and yet all of the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg is far enough away that should you wish to remain in the quiet of the mountains, you certainly would still find many interesting places to visit. The breakfast is always a perfect 10. Wonderful and filling enough that you really could skip lunch. Dinner almost always begins with a hot and tasty soup and tasty breads. I have said many times, that I could enjoy more soup and skip the rest, even though the rest is almost nearly always very good. Desserts are a part of every evening meal and I often take it back to my room since by that time, I am very full. Should you be lucky enough to meet up with the owner's dog or take a stroll down to see the swans, they will surely bring a smile to your face. Everything is very clean and well appointed. If you have a large group, there are three houses on the property that might work for you. Can't wait to visit again next year.

The Buckhorn Inn is a lovely experience quite close to downtown Gatlinburg. We stayed in one of the cottages, complete with a screened porch! The grounds are beautiful, and the staff is amazingly friendly. The included breakfasts were over the top, delicious and hearty, making our stay a great value. We had dinner there twice, and we highly recommend this. Excellent food, superb service. We’ve already booked our next visit.
