Laurel Point Resort

We were a bit worried about the negative reviews but have been very pleasantly surprised by the reality of our stay here. Laurel Point Resort is in a great location if you are looking for a peaceful setting away from the craziness of G’burg & don’t need all the bells and whistles of a 5* resort (or the hefty price tag!). The resort offers easy access to the National Park, a small indoor pool, hot tub & laundry facilities. Beds very comfortable & great cooking and relaxing areas. Probably not ideal for families with young children as not much for them to do, but for us (3 adults looking for a relaxing base to explore the Smoky Mountains, it was perfect for us who value peace and nature over bright lights and bustling resorts. Would happily return.

We were in this resort for a week. Good reception staff. Everything was excellent except one maintenance person who literally asked me and my father to get out of the recreation room for no reason. Rudest person I have ever seen in hospitality industry. Reached out to the manager too but was never given any incident report for this. Except for this one person who should be fired right away, everything else was very Pleasant

Excellent proximity to parkway, park, and town. Great staff and accommodations. Luckily, I didn’t come to spend my vacation in the unit because the street level view was noisy and unpleasant. For what I paid in maintenance fees over the years, I would have appreciated a better placed unit.
