The Lodge at Buckberry Creek

Enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Cindy was great in helping our group get set up. The setting felt very private despite being close to Gatlinburg. Rooms were clean and as expected. It was exactly what we were looking for. It would be nice for it to be built back up a little, in particular the outdoor gathering areas, which could have used some maintenance, but we enjoyed our stay and everything was exactly as expected. We had a bear visit within our first hour, and another Momma and 3 cubs climb a tree below the lodge a few days later.

I love this lodge! I have stayed there four times in the last 12 months and had a wonderful experience each time. The views are amazing from all of the rooms. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is adequately equipped. And those plush bathrobes! Wow. Helen and Cindy do everything they can to ensure that your visit is the best. Even better, the lodge is about 10 minutes from Gatlinburg and about 10 minutes from the Sugarland Visitor Center.

This lodge was nothing short of amazing. I loved the peaceful mountain setting & the beautiful views from our balcony. The lodge itself was warm, clean,& beautifully maintained. There are several nice hiking trails in the area. If shopping is your thing (not mine) there are plenty of shops nearby in Gatlinburg. Restaurants too. If you’re looking for a place to recharge, reconnect, & enjoy the beauty of the Smokies, I can’t recommend this lodge enough. Looking forward to our next visit! PS... we may have seen a few bears!
