DOUBLETREE HOTEL JOHNSON CITY

We held a seminar at this location for a week in July. The service from Sis and the others was phenomenal and we will definitely use this location in the future!

This hotel is almost 4 star. It’s recently been updated and that is really nice. The lobby, rooms, hallways-are all new and fantastically done. The pool and atrium could be amazing but they did not put any money into these spaces. The ceiling in the atrium over the pool leaks water when it’s raining and the tile surrounding the pool are cracked and broken. You could cut your foot on all the broken tile. In some places it has been taped to hide the damage. But a more funds put into this area would make it so enjoyable. They need to replace the tiles and add some nice seating. And this space would be amazing. The Burger Bar inside the hotel is rated #1 in the area and was a HUGE disappointment. My medium rare burger was more than well done. And my salmons salad was so overcooked I didn’t eat it. Sophie, the server, was sweet as can be but the chef needs a few lessons in meat temps. Don’t waster your money. I recommend you go across the street to Oak & Arbor Grill

This hotel is awesome! It has been recently renovated and the rooms are very nice. The showers are large with nice white tile and the soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion are all excellent quality. The bed/pillows are super comfortable. Had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant/bar. Food was very good- the burgers were tasty and the breakfast bar has a very nice selection of food. Love the TVs with the sports channels. One of the best aspects of the hotel was the friendly and attentive staff. Alex, Delila, Abigail, and Jan’a were friendly, helpful, and really went above and beyond to make our stay an excellent experience. We could not have been happier, and we will definitely be back!
