Knights Inn Memphis

Clean room. As you’d expect for a budget hotel room. Unfortunately no coffee making facilities in the room, but managed by boiling water in the microwave. Free breakfast....coffee, juice, cereals and Danish pastries Has fridge, microwave, safe and a sometimes working hairdryer. Only about 10 minutes drive away to Graceland. Staff friendly and helpful.

On arrival the drive in was through a derelict area . Got to our room and oh my god could not belive what we had come to . Room stank furiture old n dirty take something to sit on ... Bathroom has to be seen to belive how discusting it was (see pics ) Tap didnt work in sink and lights didnt work . Mircowave looked like it had been throw across the room .. We used the safety chain and bolt at night as did not feel safe was very surprised to see car still in one piece in morning ... Loud a/c which has competion with areoplanes flying very near .. POOL AREA!!! WELL i was brave enough to put my feet in .. there was two broken sunloungers snd three very broken un useable tables no chairs .. We left running and icthing !!!! This hotel should be shut down .... We travel ALOT never seen anything as bad as this !!!

Oh my days, what can I say? This is the filthiest, unkempt basic place I have ever stayed! The room is tired, damp and dirty. There is absolutely nowhere nearby to visit, eat or get a drink so once here you are trapped. Customer service is appalling and just to add insult to injury there is a strip club next door where the music is pelting out most of the night so you can’t sleep (even on top of the bed because we didn’t feel able to get under the covers due to such low standards of hygiene). Didn’t get a wink of sleep, avoid at all costs. Also can’t charge your phones etc as plugs don’t work.
