Park Place Hotel Memphis

I am not sure where to start. Be eat the FRONT doors lock at six pm. I come to the front door and I see the desk attendant standing there. My hands are full and she proceeds to walk off and look at something the other young lady was showing her. I am ringing this doorbell and so glad someone was leaving out because the doors opened and allowed me to come inside. Was I angry yes. When I travel on business and make my reservations through our system I never have to swipe my card well you guessed it had to here. No digital key sent. She said she didn’t know what happened, SURE. Glad again it was for one night. Lastly there are some towels you all need to desperately RETIRE!! There time is up

Absolutely disgusting! Old and falling apart. Place is under renovation, but should be closed until completed. Toilet hardly flushes, shower still has standing water in it 14 hours after I showered. Find somewhere else to stay!

I’ve stayed at hundreds of Marriott hotels and this is by far the worst I’ve ever experienced. Very rundown hotel. Lots of better options by the airport or downtown. Water service was shut down from 9:30 am - 4 pm but was told AFTER paying the deposit. The late-night front desk person should have been upfront about that earlier in the process. If you need to print anything, one computer is outright broken with an unplugged mouse while the other overheats after a few seconds of use. The room itself is not up to the usual standard you’d expect either. I normally don’t leave negative feedback, but this was genuinely poor quality from top to bottom. If you have other options, I highly recommend that you go elsewhere.
