HOWARD JOHNSON DOWNTOWN/OPRYLAND

Cockroaches! Smells like pee! Mold or something dark on the wall. No coffee as indicated would be in the room. Argued with the desk for 20 minutes about the room & not "telling anyone" how bad the room is. Worst hotel of our whole trip.

THIS PLACE SUCKED!! Not only did our room smell musty and like old cigarettes we got put next to pot smokers. You heard that right POT. SMOKERS. The pot smell filled up our whole room and the front desk did nothing but “give them a call” We had to ask very firmly for a refund as the declined our request TWICE. Yes the price is nice, and if you look past the crappy smell then yeah it’s fine. BUT POT?!? Never. again.

This place is as crappy as the reviews say. It’s about 20 minutes to broadway. Which is Watever. People are definitely selling drugs, gang banging and turning tricks in the parking lot. The rooms are pretty nasty. But I’ll be honest I didn’t care. I got super drunk at every honky Tonk and house keeping woke me up. I definitely would not have been able to sleep had I not been blacked out. With that being said I stayed one night and that was it. As trashy as I was planning to be that weekend even that motel has a low standard. This is def a crack motel
