Days Inn Newport

Worst hotel ever the Night Manager was very helpful and gave me a room that was ok but the owner need to allow the Night Manager to do what needs to be done in the rooms to make them excellent to stay and makes someone want to come back but apparently from talking to a coupe of people in the hotel the owner doesn't care about his guest well being and comfort. Most of the rooms the Night Manager was caring and wouldn't put me in a room that would make me sick

Made the reservation was infoformed when i got there was the fee was higher than the sight i booked on they tell me that there is a 100 dollar deposite and when u check out you only get 50 dollars of your money back they keep the other 50 for no reason to me thats theft and they are doing this to people

I wanted a no smoking room. They told me our room was no smoking but it had been an among room at some point because the smoke smell still lingered in the rug, chair, curtains. I asked if they had AAA discount, they said no but had already given me a discount. Couldn’t tell that from bill.
