Nice place as the holiday inn express always is! Clean and friendly. Great location. Easy to access and front desk was helpful.

I’ve stayed here at least a dozen times. The staff has always been friendly, however that being said, the hotel has gone downhill despite the renovations. I was here in April and they put me in a room that DID NOT LOCK. If you were not in the room to manually turn the deadbolt, the room didn’t lock, i.e if you left the room for the day anyone could walk in without a room key. I immediately told the front desk and they moved me to a different room. That was in April. I came back to stay in June and they put me in the same room, surely it’s been 2 months they would’ve fixed it. Nope. It STILL did not lock. This is dangerous. I went back to the front desk and explained the situation to which the guy said “ok I’ll put in a maintenance request, thanks” no urgency, I continued to stand there and he said “what would you like me to do??” I said “I would like to be moved to a room that locks” to which he responded “oh you WANT to be moved?” I wouldn’t say want is the correct word, moreso need, and it was an unprofessional response. Again, I’ve stayed here a dozen of times and almost never had a problem, but this is unacceptable. On top of this, the gym equipment is broken (the bench will not adjust and the treadmill is finicky). If you can there are definitely better options.

We were in town for medical treatments and the staff could not have been more helpful. Excellent rooms and a breakfast no one could want more. Home cooking and a great variety. The staff treats you like family. I highly recommend this home away from home.
