We stayed here for one night while passing through after visiting the Jack Daniel’s distillery. Overall, it was an okay stopover, but not one of our favorite stays from our road trip Pros: The location is quiet, which made for a peaceful setting. There’s a Mexican restaurant right next door that offers a discount for hotel guests ,the food and service there were excellent! The ladies working reception during both check-in and check-out were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. A real credit to the hotel. Cons: The breakfast area was very small with limited seating, and the selection was quite poor not much to choose from. The air conditioning unit in our room was extremely loud, to the point where it sounded like a plane taking off. We had to turn it off, which made sleeping uncomfortable due to the heat. The bed was okay, but the sheets were low quality and didn’t help with getting a good night’s rest. The bathroom was very small, dated, and didn’t feel particularly clean. While we didn’t have any direct issues, this was the only hotel on our 10-day road trip where we didn’t feel entirely safe. Hard to pinpoint why just an overall feeling. This place served its purpose for a quick overnight stay.

I'm posting this in other places because I want people to be aware and apparently my Google review is blocked from the public seeing. The people at the front desk were nice and the location isn't bad, but my room was gross. I only stayed a night and ended up killing 3 roaches. They were getting on the night stand and I had two different ones crawl into my houseshoes. There was even one crawled up in the corner cover on the wall. Definitely disgusting. 🤮 I would have requested another room, but where there's one roach (or 3 in my case), there's most definitely more so I didn't think it would be worthwhile. I've added photos to this review for anyone interested in looking at them.

The front desk staff was very friendly and professional and check-in was very quick and efficient. After we arrived at our room, the front desk staff actually called to make sure we were satisfied with the room and happy with everything. I’ve stayed in hotels that cost as much as $500 a night and never did I receive a phone call to make sure I was pleased until today. The motel is older, but well cared for. Our room was freshly updated with solid surface flooring, modern furniture, large screen tv and comfortable bed. It was a great value and I would not hesitate to stay here again.
