I’m leaving this review based solely on their billboards I see while driving on I-20! The Whitten’s seem like such a fun and kind family, pups included! I will make it a point to stay here, even if I normally wouldn’t on a 5 hour drive:)

We booked the Whitten Inn because we found their prices to be some of the best in town for the time we were there. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Some of the rooms around us were in the process of being renovated, so that's a plus for the next guests. The staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

The owners refused to return my $100 deposit, claiming I had messed up the bed sheets. They were unprofessional, cursing and making derogatory remarks towards me. I couldn't check the linen because a severe storm had caused a power outage in the building. I took the sheets to the cleaners and the woman told me they were old stain that had been on the sheets for a long time!
