Quality Inn - Abilene

Clean. Has a bar. But the room smelled like a wet dog who chain smoked…and if shame had a smell you could sprinkle that on it. I spent one night. Kept my suitcase closed so the smell didn’t ruin all my clothes. Hopefully never back here again

Terrible hotel. Upcharged me $443 for a $200 room bc rooms were hard to come by. This is theft. No workable wi-fi. Old hotel - not even a smart TV. Terrible

Recently I had the pleasure of spending 25 nights at the Holiday Inn IHG of Abilene, TX. Located at 3525 W. Lake Rd. This has to be the most pleasurable place I have stayed in years. They checked every block. Clean, quiet and comfortable. I felt very much at home. The entire staff was exceptional. Friendly, inviting, caring and professional. From housekeeping to the GM. Each and every one. First rate. The restaurant was a big surprise. Everything on the menu was terrific. With a 25-night stay, I tried everything, more than once. Superb. The hamburger was the best in town. This will be the only place for me, every time I return to Abilene.
