The security guard and night clerk harassed me for two nights in a row because I am a smoker, and they wanted me to adhere to a ridiculous set of “policies” that were against the law. The idiots ended up calling the police on me at 0230 AM, and the police escorted me to my room at 0400 AM. The dummies left me alone for the next two nights. If you smoke, don’t stay there. It was absolutely awful.

The hotel is under renovations but some rooms are done so that’s where they place you. The rooms are spacious and clean but renos take a huge part of the hotel so we’ve just been walking from room to the car and back without using any facilities or eating breakfast. Breakfast was pretty bad but it’s exactly what you pay for - plastic bread, tasteless coffee but there are yoghurts, fresh eggs and you can make your own waffles too, so not horrible but we chose to opt out of it and get our own while some people ate it in the cafeteria. There’s free parking. There’s a lot of noise coming from the highway, so if you’re a light sleeper, it will disturb you quite a bit at night. Overall, considering how much we paid, I think the value was good!

This hotel was a last minute addition because the one we had booked for the trip denied us check in. Allows under 21 check in. Our room felt hot, but we were able to get a room for that night for only $100, so I can’t complain. It’s affordable but still clean. Lobby smelled like cigarettes, but our room was just fine.
