SUPER 8 BY THE GALLERIA / NORTH DALLAS

I paid via Expedia. When I checked in the clerk named Paddy, charged me a $51 deposit plus recharged my credit card for the room. He then denied doing it even though I instantly received a notification from my bank on my phone of the additional charges. He then said it was my banks fault and he couldn’t do anything. The next morning, I was told by another clerk that location holds you credit card for the room and deposit until they get paid by Expedia. When I asked for an itemized copy of the receipt, the receipt showed that they were already paid by Expedia, it showed the $51 deposit, and the second charge for the room. In others words, it took $190 to get a $60 room and I now have to wait a week to be credited for the over charges!! The room was extremely run down. Wallpaper falling down and ceiling cracks. The tub had dirty bath water in it upon arrival.

Wonderful stay, Great Location, updated rooms by the pool is excellent. Only WiFi signal was not stable, staff is very helpful and friendly I met manager Raj Patel in the morning he was very humble too.

Only stayed one night, nothing like I thought, doesn't look as pictured, & not to far but also not to close to the Galleria Mall as I thought it would be. The rooms need to be remodeled. Need new carpet & furniture in rooms
