Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Alice

Was a very nice hotel - beds were very compfy, breakfast was really good (surprisingly). We asked for a quiet room and we got one - with no neighbours and no noise at nighttime - very much appreachiated. Smart TVs would be nice in futuretime or the possibilty to plug in our devices into the TV

This hotel is decent however they do not offer daily cleaning and i woke up to my smoke/fire alarm going off at 12 am. The ac unit clearly burned up, scared me and hotel staff didn’t get any notification other than me calling them. The phone didn’t work in the room i had yo use my cell to call the main line. The clerk helped me move to another room and was very nice however ac units are outdated and by the time i left my new room at 6 am i could smell the same burnt smell in the kids room that was attached to my unit. Dangerous!

This hotel smelled very bad in the lobby and the area including the hall was dirty. The parking lot was not well kept and the hotel was overpriced. The room had a big TV and hard and soft pillows but the furniture and walls had imperfections. The bathroom was in bad shape. They did have shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the tub but the finish on the tub was very badly worn off. Good grab bars but we didn’t like this hotel because it wasn’t in good shape.
