Best Western Alvin Inn

The refrigerator didn't work, so I had to toss the food stored there.  There was no hot water for showers; requested that both items be fixed, they weren't. The next night, water poured onto my bathroom floor from the shower upstairs.  I called and reported it and I was told no one could see to it until the next morning.  I sopped up the water as best as I could.  I was in a handicapped room, if I'd fallen on the slippery tiled floor, I'd have sued them for negligence. The wifi didn't work; they fixed it.  But it was out the last morning I was there.  I've been to this motel several times but this is the most indifferent visit -- totally different from other visits.  I won't go back.

$67 incl tax is a bargain for a quiet, very clean, safe and well decorated room that your pet can share for no extra charge. Cleaning and reception staff are lovely people. Rooms are large and not miserable like some cheaper accommodations. Have been back a couple times now and is definitely my go to place to stay whilst in the area. Great area next to the bypass to walk your pooch too. Highly recommend. Only downside, no coffee but I got instant from dollar tree round the corner so problem solved as there is a microwave and fridge in the room.

The room was clean with big TV and large fridge. I stayed at other motel 6 location that were not nearly as clean and updated as this location. The front desk manager helped us to check it a little early, which was great after driving all night.
