Rooms were nice, spacious and well kept .The staff was awesome. Would definitely stay again

Booked this based on high ratings. Totally disappointed. Pros - Hotel and rooms are clean. Cons: 1) Very unprofessionally managed hotel. For multiple days we stayed, TV in lobby was always on but nothing playing. TV remote in room had tape in the back instead. Minor stuff but shows you management doesn't care. 2) Front staff - Uninformed. One says you can check in early, other says can't. One refused to give me invoice at checkout, indicating it will be generated once housestaff is done cleaning. I will get in email. I am still waiting. Night staff everytime a new guy, in T shirt and slippers. 3) Breakfast - Free breakfast is a joke. Area is so small that if you walk few steps, you will miss it. Not expecting a Sheraton breakfast, but choice is so limited, its better to bring your own food. 4) Stairs are locked. You can only go out. Only choice to go to your room is one small dingy old elevator. 5) No safety box in rooms. 6) There is no closet in room. One corner area with some hangers to hang your clothes. 7) Pillows - Bed pillows are so small they look like back cushions. 8) Queen size bed in really small. If you are booking thinking 2 can sleep on one bed, one will be on the floor at night.

Had a wonderful experience staying at Ramada by Wyndham Austin South. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made the whole stay smooth and stress-free. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The hotel atmosphere was relaxing, and the location made it easy to get around Austin. I’ll definitely return on my next trip!
