Country Inn and Suites Temple

Good morning, Based on my recent experience, I would not recommend staying at Comfort Inn & Suites in Temple. The hotel requires a $100 deposit from guests who reside within a 50-mile radius. While I understand that hotels may have deposit policies, I was extremely disappointed with the way my deposit was handled. During my stay, I began my menstrual cycle and naturally needed to clean and freshen up. I was later informed that evidence related to this was considered “damage” and was used as justification for withholding my deposit. Additionally, bodily fluids from consensual adult activity during my stay were also cited as another reason for retaining the deposit. I find it concerning that normal bodily functions and activities occurring during a hotel stay could be categorized as property damage without a clear explanation of what actual damage occurred or what additional cleaning was required. Guests should be made fully aware of these standards and expectations prior to check-in, especially when a $100 deposit is involved. Based on how this situation was handled, I would not recommend this property to others and would encourage potential guests to carefully review the hotel’s deposit and damage policies before booking.

If I could give this place a 0 I would! And it is all because the front desk guy during our stay on June 9-11 2026. We had just come in at 11pm after spending all day in the hospital with our son who had to be admitted to NICU. He was beyond rude to my wife who just said Hi and then made comments such as “Can I get a name or something.” And “I would ask if you had a nice day, but I can already tell.” We were already under a lot of stress from our 2 day old baby being sick and that made it that much worse. We walked away from him and tried to put I out of our mind, but how he acted was unacceptable and should not be tolerated in a hospitality field.

Retired couple, visiting grown daughter, a great central location but still quite isolated feel in the room. Excellent price in today’s market They have placed us both times in a 3rd floor room away from the elevator and activity. The bed feels like a Goldilocks story, not too firm, not too soft, but JUST RIGHT (and I prefer soft). We are VERY PICKY and sleep like a dream on this bed (one of THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT FEATURES). GREAT breakfast with not only good food but an extremely nice, friendly chef. Breakfast area immaculately clean. Well priced vending items in machine conveniently located with ice machine right at elevator. 2 comfortable places to sit in the room with all needed amenities and surfaces to contain items you don’t want on the floor. Simple, restful atmosphere. No noise. We will use this hotel for many years in the future 5 minutes from our daughter.
