HAMPTON INN - SUITES-AUSTIN AI

Sulima is amazing. Courteous and always smiling. Used the shuttle for the airport run. Available from 4am to 1pm, takes a mid day break Then again from 4pm to 1am. Great location.

I guess I should have paid heed to the other reviews on this hotel. We have always been very satisfied with Hampton, but this changed all of that. Reserved here mainly because it was near the airport. When we got to the room, I found several strands of hair in the bath tub and had to rinse it out. The toilet seat was literally falling off of the toilet. Had to be careful how far you leaned over....... Opened the mini-fridge, and a bug of some sort ran out and disappeared before I could smash it. And last but not least, the TV didn't work. Wouldn't even come on. Called the front desk. No maintenance was in. All they could do is give us a different room. Too late for that.. Wasn't going to pack everything up and move. Just went to bed early. Breakfast was underwhelming. No idea what the egg things were that were out. And fruit flies everywhere. Will NOT stay there again.

Spent four comfortable nights here before flying out from Austin Airport. Hotel easily accessed off Hwy 71, Ben White Blvd, and fifteen minutes drive from South Congress or downtown. Planes can be seen and heard leaving and arriving at the airport from our fifth floor room at the rear of the hotel for any others so inclined, but any noise not considered excessive. Recently renovated and with all the usual facilities offered by Hampton Inns and Suites, including free parking. Shout out to Maya for her friendly, welcoming manner.
